So yea, it's a browser-based Java game where the world consists of cubes.
It's in alpha stage with currently with the only gamemode being sandbox. It will eventually have a survival (amongst others) mode.
At its current stage, you create and destroy various blocks in either a single- or multiplayer environment. It's got rudimentary physics, which means that sand and gravel blocks fall straight down and liquid cubes (water & lava) spreads by duplicating itself to an adjacent spot next to and below itself.
The multiplayer servers are hosted by other players or dedicated machines using the server files. Playing the full game is free until it gets done. At the moment, you can pre-purchase the full game (which will include more gamemodes, zombies, and more!). As a perk for pre-purchasing and supporting the lone developer, you're given the ability to modify your character and upload a custom skin.

What do you guys think of this mod for the minecraft server?

I'm particularly fond of those public teleporter runes, they would make going from city to city alot easier

People can chose whatever name they want to during the free weekend, heck even i could name myself Notch!

It's a block game, there is skin packs that makes it look better to a certain degree. If those doesn't cut it for you, make your own!
The game itself is made from another Block based game named Infiminer wich is why it's cubic and this quality

Most noteably (imo) are those teleport runes. I've built a waypoint rune near /home with this signature: North: Wood (planks), East South West: Empty/Dirt; and another one near Mt. Karlsfalls with: North: Wood, East: Empty/Dirt, South: Wood, West: Empty/Dirt
