Endermen don't pick up blocks that a player has placed anymore, do they?

EDIT: I read on the wiki, since Minecraft 1.9 endermen can only pick up the following blocks, no matter if a player has placed them or not.

Grass Block
Dirt
Mycelium
Sand
Gravel
Clay
Rose
Brown Mushroom
Red Mushroom
Pumpkin
Jack-O-Lantern
Melon
TNT
Cactus
Flower

Sounds like the perfect way to remove dirt houses

If the block mechanic was nerfed, I'll second the OP for Endermen on Aprilon. Just so long as I don't come back from a few days offline to find they've completely disassembled my house.

As a related sidenote, could the server support the End?

I'm fairly certain that it's possible to edit what blocks endermen can pick up. If the Endermen can't pick up any blocks, it can't grief.

Endermen drop Enderpearls. Enderpearls are needed to find and make a portal to The End/Strongholds. The End would have no Endermen without it.

If the Endermen are removed becasue they can grief (a good idea) then just make it so that they can't pick up ANY blocks.

I enabled 'nerfed' Endermen with the last update to 1.1, not quite sure what exactly the nerfing is but im hoping they won't pick up blocks anymore.
