"HI GUYS. WE'RE STEAM. WE HOST THE FRIENDS SERVER ON AN iPOD MINI. OH ALSO; WE'RE BRINGING OUT A MORE BULKY AND COMPUTER RESOURCE DRAINING CLIENT. HAVE FUN GUYS."

In all seriousness, that game viewer window, the games take up alot of space (heightwise), I'm gonna have a huge scroll bar o_O

you can make groups with games, so you can organise them better

Oh great, just what we need, an even more resource hungry client.

But dont worry guys you can close it!

But not while playing your games, the time when you want as much free resources as possible!!!! :x :x

It takes more resources? Shit. No thanks.

Hmmmm i also quite like it, gives me a lot more info about how many friends i have that own each game so i'll know who to poke when i want to play :)

It kinda depressed me when it listed under TF2 quite how many hours i've played >.<

721 hours before people start looking at me >.>

Seems pretty good and its nice that it lists update news just below game info aswell so i can see at a glance the patch notes :)

Can't say i overly notice any resource issues but then again i have lots of spare resources >.<

I've only seen 1 bug so far and that was it not properly parsing HTML in some patch notes for a game, what should i be looking for?

its so-so buggy, the web browser mostly and it crashed me once, but i don't use it much and its not even good reason to go back to old one,

It deleted MW2 Multiplayer, I had to re-download it:

I'd suggest to anyone who hasn't yet tried the UI beta to stick with the default for now. :|

Oh fuck. If I lose all my stats I will rage. I was like 30k Experience away from my first Prestige. :(

Surely that stuff isn't stored locally though?

Just use this view the games take up no more space than they used to

I dunno, I sorta like it. There's been lots of discussions on the Steampowered forums already on how it can be simplified without taking up too much space, which is my main issue with it. Besides that, I haven't really noticed it taking more resources. And if it does, I'm fine with that because the overlay is alot smoother now then the old one is.
