I'm looking into a steelseries 5H, but it says the sound is optimized for footsteps and such, but how does it work just listening to music?

It's awesome. They have a very good bass, and really nice on the low end tones. Discant could be a bit better though, but definetly a good headset.
Else considder the headset I got, Steelseries Syberia headset. (The headset was previously owned by Icemat, but now Steelseries is producing it)
Mine is the USB version, sadly my USB soundcard has gone bananas, so now I'm left with just using it with the normal mini-jack.

I see. Well I never really liked the Siberia simply because you look like an alien if you have it on your head
I'm not doubting the sound quality or comfort, just that it looks really ugly.

Noone of the presents under the goddamn christmas tree is heavy enough to be the G35 headsets.
Oh, and some crap toy from Spyderco, called the freaking Baliyo.
Not big surprise.
I already got Killing flooh! And I hope I get S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl. And some other gayms.

I want a new headset too. The one I had is broken, so I have to use old speakers
.
The wire is slightly loose on my left ear, so it leads to irritation and it's quite annoying to only hear sound on my right ear

Excellent headphones
I'm considering :
but I'm not sure. I also could use a new gaming mouse as I'm using a standard mouse.
Do gaming mouses make a difference ? I got a gaming keyboard and it did nothing
looks nice though.

A gaming keyboard doesn't help at all. I have one though, a Logitech G11.
But a gaming mouse, wow, that makes all the difference. I can recommend a Razer Deathadder. I have one, and have had it for 2 years. It's amazing, but only for right handed people.
