Hey! I don't know if you noticed or anything like that, or even if you care, but I just thought I would let you know that the Aprilon Dynasty TF2 server crashed today at 18:29 CET.
It has now been down for over 5 minutes, but im faithfully refreshing it. :)

Still down. ;_;

Both the GMOD and the TF2 server are currently down! Something must be wrong with the host, Karl isn't online so we'll just have to wait for him to see this.

Okay. :) Too bad. My team was winning!

Isn't that jumping to conclusions? If it's just the ones hosting the server that has made a screwup?
Nov 26, 2009, 07:15 PM#7
I'm sure it'll be sorted as soon as Karl is around.

Could be a DoS attack. Can't we report the IP of attackers to their ISP?

unlikely, both servers are down it's probably a hosting issue.

Indeed, it's a problem with the host. I'm going to try contacting tech for an explaination and status about the issue.

Thanks Karl, keep us updated.

EDIT: BACK ONLINE!

Both servers are now online, but services such as the controlpanel and ftp haven't been restored yet.

Today at 4.48pm all servers at the TATA Stratford Facility lost power

As of 4:48pm grid power has been lost to the facility, the UPS systems took over as expected however the generators did not come online, a power engineer has been on site and resolved this issue, we are currently working to bring all racks and servers back online.

This was out of our hands and many hosts had the same outage
We are very sorry for this outage, and we will do what we can to solve any issue that you may still have

Time Line
4:48pm - Power to site lost - running on UPS.
5:15pm - UPS systems depleted, generators failed to start.
5:30pm - Generators failovers will not funciton, power engineer dispatched.
6:32pm - Power Engineer arrived on site.
6:54pm - Power Engineer estimates 30-45 minutes to return power to site.
7:16pm - Power returned to site, process of booting up each rack commenced

All servers should now be operational

Again sorry for this inconvenience caused

Basically the datacenter fucked up.

Make them pay you $500,000,000,000 dollars to account for this disaster.

Rofl.. So their emergency generator didn't work? xD I thought this is why you systematicly check them every now and then. :ghost: Awesome.

Well, glad to know that I can go back to my fragging! Thanks for the heads up, Karl!

You don't think they can do a cross-over without turning it on? I was just thinking, since they can do it the other way around, from primary power to emergency power without an outage :P

Still think it's awesome the emergency power failed. xD I mean... That's like sinking on a big cruise ship, and they report over the intercom that they sadly forgot to check if there were any lifevests. xD

Only 5 people on the server. ;_;
I just had 30 minutes I could play in, but sadly none to play with. Ah well, guess I'll go in and spy around a little.
