Ok heres the question: you are arrested for assaulting a police officer, and there are only 3 cells left, you are allowed to choose
Cell 1: A room full of pissed off swordsmen
Cell 2: A room full of assassin's with loaded weapons
Cell 3: A room full of lions who haven't eaten in three years.
Which do you chose and why?

I thought you weren't allowed to bring weapons into the holding area? 
Ah well..
Hmm.. I would probably chose the assassin's with loaded weapons. Your text doesn't clarify wether or not they are pissed off, like the swordsmen, so if you're lucky, they could all be stand up guys! I guess you could bribe them. :]

i'd take the room with the lions then tame them by feeding them my left arm and then i'll use them to escape to africa where i'll tame all lions with meat from the zebras and then i'll take over the world

I'd go with the assasins, assasins can be reasoned with they usually kill for money or principle not for no reason. My second choice would be pirates who can be somewhat easily swayed if your skilled but then again the lions are probably dead if they haven't eaten in three years.
