If we had another Team Fortress 2 server, what maps would you like to have it run?
Personally, I wouldn't mind doing a 24/7 map like 2fort.

Either 2fort or CP maps would be amazing, 24/7 2fort maps are extremely popular so that would be a wise choice, but CP maps are also popular.
Or an RTV map would be nice.
If you add another server I'd recommend making it an American server not because I get a better ping
(I get a good ping on the british server, east coasters ftw) but because it would expand Aprilon to more people. Having another server would be awesome.

I agree that it should be an american server (on the condition that I can find a decent provider that has almost the same price as UKGame

agreed, and they are far less popular as well.

My vote is definatly a 2fort server, UK or US whatever I'm sure the ping will stay fairly even regardless

If I can't find a decent host in the US, I'll turn to UKGame where we have our current servers at the moment

They recently added TF2 to their games list, so I might try them out, not sure yet though. I might want to try and play on one of their existing servers just to see how my ping would be (and I'm hoping that other players could join me in this). Good thing is that XenonServers is really cheap, but last time I used XenonServers for Garry's Mod, the experience was bad. Their systems doesn't allow customers to upload the custom DLL files and such, which is really needed to get things working and rolling.

I've never used their servers if I'm honest I've only ever run UK servers so pass it over from me.

why not getting a root server ? so you can make everything alone and host so many server you want (depends on the hardware) and most time its cheaper if you planning to host up to 2-3 server. i always use only root servers

I'd also like to use a root server, but they are expensive and at the moment Aprilon doesn't have that stable economy required to run (and rent) one of these. I don't feel like investing them and *hope* that the TF2 servers will be filled up, get the users attention, and possibly donate.
I'm definately going to consider it though.
