Well, since beta 1.9 prerelease 6 Minecraft now has an ending.
So yeah, what do you think?
Pretty touching, if you ask me. And strange
Is it just a joke or does it actually say something?
What do you think about the future of Minecraft? I mean, it will soon be fully released and I am not sure if it is going to have the same feeling anymore. Has it reached its potential fanbase?
I really got to say that Minecraft has been something special for me. It has come to symbolize an era of my life. Kinda
And in the middle of everything, Sweden. LOL

That's crazy, how it's all ending hah.
It's gonna be so weird playing the game without looking forward to the next patch update..
Isn't there supposed to be a 1.10 though?

Yeah, I think Mojang have said something like "Minecraft is a never ending game (yes, never ending!) and as long as people play it we will keep making updates".
Also, they will possibly release a DLC, which would be fun

Hah! It's cool that Minecraft have an ending, but also a bit misplaced. As it's not a game that revolves around a story or anything, I don't feel like it needs an ending. There's nothing leading up to the ending so far, and since you're ported back to your world to continue, and possibly kill the dragon again, it doesn't mean as much.
It's cool, but probably not something one would want to see more than a couple of times. Then it's just farming the dragon I bet.
