How do we Get slimeballs for the new update 1.7

i have never seen a slime on this server and i'm sure they're rare.
In the new update there is pistons and Sticky pistons made by making a normal piston and putting a slime ball on top of that regular piston.
Will admins Give them to players or will we go without?

I have found a couple of slimeballs. This green creatures spawned in my mine right after the update but i have not seen any ever since
