The Dan case

I've been griefed several times now by two players named Dan and SoccaStar (I suspect theyr'e working together). Nova's helped me out, but long story short they both claim innocence, and I've caught both of them in the act. Dan did it while revoked, so just pointing out that there may be a problem in the permission system. In the words of Penn, "BULLSHIT!"

Update: they griefed spawn, and both said "TEAM DEMO" ...curious...

Dan has already been revoked. And he can't do it when he's not whitelisted...

I HAVE heard of a griefer team out there, actually a couple well hackers getting into random mc servers everyday, and just griefing everywhere. Most of them can hack right through the whitelisting system somehow and just grief.
I just don't understand how evil they can be, do they obviously not have anything better to do? no lives right there.. it makes me so mad >_<

They were being dickheads on the server and bragging about their griefing. Banned them both after revoking, fuck them.

There is obviously either a glitch or a hack. I saw him do it with my own eyes. I couldn't take a screenshot because I died before I could. Anyways, yes there are griefer teams out there (like team avo), but this pathetic excuse of a griefer team isn't really anything. I just posted this to point it out.

Exploiting bugs in the minecraft server software: more likely but still very unlikely
Like ManIAc said, get Fraps (free demo version) to record everything, press F2 to make screenshots (minecraft feature), anything!
If theres no evidence -> 'in dubio pro reo'. Your word against his, we have no way of knowing if you are a griefer trying to get legit players revoked.
