TF2 servers shutting down

As you all know, our TF2 servers have been empty for the last couple of months, due to unexplained cases of lag, and crashes.
We're not willing to give up on TF2 completely, so you might see our TF2 server(s) return in the future. No promises though. We are still working on figuring out what's causing this, and will probably re-launch if we figure it out.

It wasn't just the lag. People were also too lazy to read that the I.P had changed, and just not bothered returning.

You have to assume it was the lag (because there was lag even on a vanilla install with only myself playing), you can't prove your statement. The lag was the main cause anyway.

This very doable, maybe have some taunting animations in black and white with a few stats like total number of hours played on the server along with any honourable mentions etc

I actually have an idea or two for this but i need more info from karl and i'll need him to molest the DB in inappropriate ways to extract said information, i'll flirt with him on IRC tomorrow ^_^

Maybe if we get some motivation going for the servers coming back up, we can bring in the attention of enough of the group to resurrect the servers! Maybe this was your plan all along!

The problem isn't filling the servers, we could easily do that. The issue here is the technical problems which caused this. I thought I was being clear about that
