Amnesia - The Dark Decent, is one of those games that needs to be played at midnight, in a dark room with headphones on. It's a horror-game, which unlike other games, tells you to not focus on winning, but emerging yourself in the story and setting of the game. It doesn't tell you to "Play in a well-lit room", it tells you to turn off the lights.
There's currently a demo out of it, on the first link I posted, and if horror-games intrigue you, like they do to me, I would highly recommend trying it out.
Demo isn't very long, so I don't know THAT much about the game, other than the game gave me the chills.
I love these kind of games.
If you playing Penumbra, you know what kind of game this is. You aren't equipped with body armor and guns, where you shoot everything that moves. You have to think strategically in order to best your enemies, but sometimes you have no other option than to run as fast as you can the opposite direction.
Oh.. Last point.. You have a sanity-meter.. That kinda says it all, what this game wants to be.

This game looks cool, might actually get it. I like games where you aren't necessarily given a gun an told to shoot your way past things, but that you have to use your head and I like my head.

Yeah, it's awesome!
The peeking-around-corners thing just tells you how important it is to not be seen, and plan ahead.
I love the part where he hides in the closet, and opens and closes it to peep out.
The one who plays the demo, has awesome realistic mouse-movement.

Just downloaded it, but going to wait until tonight tonight to play it. :3 So it's more scary!

Update: I just played it for like.. 2½ hours. Turned off all lights in my room, wore my headset and turned up the volume.. Shit.. This game is so fucking scary. xD I can't believe how frightened I was at times, in a stupid game.

All i could think while watching that video was, how horribad are those graphics, for a paid product i expect decent graphics in this day and age especially for a horror game, it also wasn't that scarey where were the disturbing scenes i was warned about in the begining >.>

First of all, the graphics loot alot neater in the game, as the video is crappy youtube quality, but it's not one that is top of the line, but DEFINETLY not "horribad".
Second, I think it's creepy as hell, if you don't, you probably think other things are creepy. I thought the part about the closet was freaky, but nowhere near the effect of playing the scenario yourself, compared to watching it on video. Warning in the beginning was rather lame though.
