LTB must have been living under a rock, yeah its been known for a while that portal 2 will feature online co-op, the console version at the time of writing was lacking voice chat so it will have a "picture in picture" on each screen showing you what the other person can see along with TF2 styled vocalisations for like put portal here or jump there etc, the PC version afaik will have voice or at worst can be given voice through 3rd party app's but should still feature the pic in pic stuff to let you see what the other player see's
Should be absolutely epic!!!!

Even in the first portal 2 teaser the robot girl that speaks called portal 2 cooperative
