I actually recently upgraded from the Nokia 5800 to the HTC Wildfire running 2.1 Eclair.
Because i'm a nerd i named it Lumiere
But thats just its bluetooth display name

This is cheaper (not by much, sadly) and much more useable/reuseable/entertaining than an iPad

No the real question is why buy a failPhone 4, i don't see any reason to buy it over a better equipped cheaper smartphone that supports flash

Try playing 99% of the same software on an ipad, oh whats that you can't?
And having to jailbreak a phone just to make it as useful as many cheaper superior phones seems a bit backwards, my nearly 3 year old nokia did flash FFS
