Helped with the servers OS etc. by Karl. But running into problemos.

Quote:
Karl already helped me with choosing all of this. I'm running on debian 6 64 bit.
However i do need help with something else now. Which is finding out my nameservers.
My servers control panel only says 4.4.4.4 and 8.8.8.8 .

How on earth do i link this to my domain?

Thanks,
Flappah.

What are you planning on running on the server exactly?

What are the specs of the VPS

Do you mean point your domain name at your VPS?

If so, then it is nothing to do with your VPSs name servers which are non-authoritative lookup servers, this is what is uses to look up domains like how your computer does.

You need to find the IP address associated with your VPS and point using your domain providers authoritative DNS, point a DNS A (or AAAA for IPv6) record to that IP address.

Apache is easier, Lighttpd and Nginx faster (with static content, php-apc helps accelerate php scripts)
