I understand Thundermountain was removed, seeing the third part was next to undefendable. But why did Upward also get removed from the payload server, a lot of people loved that map, is there any chance we could get one or both those maps back?

Thundermountain was removed due to an issue with it crashing the server on mapchange, not a gameplay issue.

Aya can give a better reply for upward?

First of all, it has/had a bug where it instantly changes map after the time limit is up. Secondly, the main reason we removed it, is because very often, it ended with extremely long stalemates, a lot of times not even past the second point - people just left. Activity pretty much just halfed during/after Upward. Half the people leave when it stalemates, which happens a lot. Personally, I also really like Upward, but it's really not good for the server when a lot of people leave, because of one map.

Activity has been much more consistent after we removed it.
