I found this on the Aprilon Leaderboards:

I was intrigued. How much is 24,000 Hours? So I googled it.

No I think the overall playtime is just how each players individual playtime is added together to make this TOTAL. I don't think its the actual like.. length of time of how long people have been playing together.
