Regarding the color of the "normal" rank, I don't really care one way or the other, but I feel like the current gray/white is satisfactory for the "standard", low rank. I don't like grey, and I think white would be preferred. Anyways, It would be nice to see something to distinguish our real committed members and veterans from those new players who have only just put their name in. If possible, I think it might be even more interesting to see colored prefixes also. It could be something to better distinguish those specific members of the community, while leaving the full colored names for the more significant ranks.
Now, I'm just throwing out ideas, and I'm probably overthinking this, but if it were me I'd set something up like this:
- Spoiler: Show
Prefixes could be for other notable things besides [VIP] also... whatever comes to mind.
I like a similar prefix color for all staff, to distinguish them easier, but the name color varies. If prefixes aren't an option, I think it'd be best to change VIP to its own color and leave the rest as shown.
Fulsy made the recommendation for the tags to be behind the name instead to prevent the idea that there are clans/factions.
I know this isn't such a big deal, but it does make quite a difference. It'd be nice to have something easy to interpret with little clutter or headache inducing variation.
