I think we need a chat room, something like https://blueimp.net/ajax/ (Ajax chat open source). You could make a "section bar" that you can click to login using your regular aprilon credentials. Anyone want this? It would certainly deter a ton of spam and random chat/threads clogging the forums.

To chat amongst ourselves. The ingame voice chat is more for tactical stuff.

The chat idea is a bad idea, in my opinion. Wait till you see what Karl is working on now, much nicer idea.

I just use it for mucking about most of the time i'm the only person with a mic anyway, someone yesterday said i had a nice voice and i should keep talking, odd experience but there are few people who use a mic and most of them like random chatter ^^
