Hey everyone, there isn't a lot of forum activity and I'm procrastinating work so a random PC related thread. Here is my month old rig: (looks better in person) Specs: Windows vista home premium 64bit (win7 on the way) ATI Radeon HD 4890 OC AMD Phenom II 940 X4 cores overclocked from 3.0 to 3.7ghz 8GB DDR2 Ram 1TB HDD 850 Watt PSU Samsung Syncmaster 23" 2333SW 1080p LCD Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard (having fun with the lcd ) and yes this keyboard definitely isn't worth $200, I bought it off a friend of mine who didn't want it. The LCD isn't a big deal, I use Xfire in game and use their in game browser to watch videos during TF2 setup etc. Here is my computer I was using before: Windows xp pro sp3 32bit 2gb DDR ram ATI Radeon HD 4670 Intel Pentium 4 3.2ghz HT 250GB HDD 300 Watt PSU 19" Sony LCD both served me pretty well, I could run crysis on high on the pentium 4 . But my older computer was too unreliable and constantly crashed so I reformatted it and its still having some HDD problems but is much better. I might plop down a little $ to get it a new Hard drive that doesn't have the "click of death". Anyways post your computers below |

Processor: 2.40 GHz Memory: 3071 MB Hard Drive: 1TB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GS Mouse: Some crappy Microsoft one. Operating System: Windows Vista Computer Case: The way I bought it. I have almost no experience on those things, but one thing for sure, it works for me, and that's what matters! |

Thats impressive, how much did it cost to build? Also what is a GT 120? never heard of it. Is it a rebranded nvidia card? |

Is PhysX really worth another few hundred dollars though? The i7 supports tri channel ddr3 so what is up with the 8GB ram? |

Firstly, no not really but I got 2 GTX's at a cheap price brand new, so I thought that'd be alright Also as for the ddr3, I havn't got enough dosh at the moment to buy it, so I stuck my old stuff in there until next month! Which is bottlenecking quite alot at the moment, I had 6gigs in there at first but had to stick in the extra two cause its performance was lagging a little. Still next month and it'll be sweet . |

Which is bottlenecking quite alot" What component is bottlenecking your computer |

8GB, however its only in dual channel, I actually based it on Alienware m15x (Laptop) leaked docs, but I made the necessary tweeks. Along with that I also need a new block for one of the GPUs as I bust it a little when I was installing it. |
