It is time... After 2 long and creative years , and a couple of rollbacks (some catastrophic), it's time to start with a clean slate. The world has grown to a whopping 10GB and has become hard to maintain and handle. We've decided that now is a good time to start from scratch. :) But don't panic! T...

1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Yes 4. I would like to slowly phase that world out, everyone can finish what they were doing but new chunks can't be generated/won't be saved. Once everyone lost interest it will be mothballed and made read-only. The-Chosen-One suggested making it a 'museum' where everyone can fly, ...

The server echo works through a Bukkit Plugin written by our very own HAPPYGOPUCKEY  , it has a minor glitch where if the IRC connection is lost (happens more often than you'd think) it doesn't always re-join the channel automatically. If the bot is missing, tell an admin to do /ircbot join ...

Due to popular demand, I've spent that last 6 hours (!!) rendering a whole world overview.
This is gonna be as good as it gets until we start the new world, the current one is just too big to handle :P (and for a lot of MC-editing/overview programs too big to open as it turns out).

Do you really need at least 550 watts? I've been running with a beQuiet 375 watts PSU for the last few years, powering a Phenom II 955 + radeon 4870 and now i7 2600k + radeon 6950 and it works out fine. :) The only time where the PSU started "squealing" was when I ran a additional 8800GTS ...

confirmed, has the CIA gone as far as censoring minecraft? (whitty comment not whitty nor funny) <insert WMD/chemical silo/cuba-crisis joke here> I relocated the MC server onto a more powerful VPS with less strict memory and CPU limits, which is also cheaper (win/win \o/), but I didn't copy the Dyn...
