hello & one question

For the equipment manager you just type !em in chat and it will pop up a list of hats for you to pick from

edit: now i could enter the !em. but i cant really put something into the free slot. the EM says that i put something, but the slot stays free. do i something wrong?

The spelling in the equipment manager might be somewhat weird. The "Slot 1", "Slot 2" and "Slot 3" are more like 3 boxes of hats. The first box (Slot 1) has the default hats, and in Slot 2 we have the bill hats. Box 3 (Slot 3) is the misc (recent competition hats) box.

Just choose a hat and do animation on yourself and you'll see that you have the hat.

It's quite useful if you want to join the server by the click of a button.

Hakim, you can't see what hat you're wearing in your inventory, if that's where you're looking.
The hat will still appear on your head though, if you have equipped it through !em. It just doesn't appear in your inventory.

As for the full servers, donators can write a connect-command in the console, but sadly I can't remember it.

It's basicly just a new start menu for your TF2, where the 3 aprilon servers are added, so you can just click one of the servers, and you will automaticly join, and if you're a donator, you can get one of the reserved slots.
