My specs are pretty good, got a tuned Shuttle XPC with:
4 GB RAM
3.68 ghz processor
500 GB harddisk (use 1 of the 2 slots)
512 MB Asus Nvidia 7300GT fanless videocart.
Realtek HD soundcart.

Should i stay with this or could something be better?
I also want to know if it's better to have XP of 7.

anyways heres a picture of mah Shuttle XPC:

cheers ,

Windows 7 will surprise you, I got a laptop with Windows Vista on, upgraded to 7 and it is now very fast. Screw vista.

My tech teacher says Windows 7 is a late copy of what Mac have today. I really don't think so, as its an affordable solution to home computing, unlike Macs.

You are comparing the price of software to the price of software and hardware. OS X is much cheaper than Windows.

Thats like comparing the price of a printer, to the price of printer and ink together.

Have fun overpaying 200% when buying a Mac. Extreme prices for mediocre specs.

Also at flappah, having a 3.68ghz processor and a 512mb video card means nothing :P what videocard exactly, and what kind of processor?
