Move up here, we don't have Detention

Detentions for being retarded?

Is that legal?

Are they allowed to do this? If not, have you tried complaining about it (to someone other than him)?

Aye, up in scotland we don't get any detentions, however, in my school we get BSB'S (Behavior support bases) and punishment exercises.

what kind of detentions are these? what do they do to you?

good thing we don't have detentions but starting this year we have the old American suspension system, but i don't think anybody will get suspended

We only get blackmarks (which I don't get very often )!

My University can't make me do anything that even looks or sounds like detention
They can expel you though, if you commit fraud by copying someone else's work

We get detention here, in high school. Not in anything else though.
