A new level of donating

I was thinking the other day of a new level to the donating system.
As we know, donating gives you several benefits and some will like it others don't, believing they will have an advantage (read: cheating) over non donators. That is actually true for some of the boosts you get. However, it is minimal and does not destroy the game. I too thought it was rather unfair, but accepted it as it is. In fact, apart from the colored text and godmode on round end, I do not even notice the boosts really.. or maybe I just don't have the time to pay attention to it.
But I would like to make an suggestion. My suggestion is to have a optional feature for donators in place. This optional feature would let donators decide if they want all these boosts / hats / specific ones or just none at all (with exception of colored chat, of course). That way you might get new people to donate, that do not want any of the benefits but still contribute towards the server. One of these people would be me. I'd like it pure you see.
Also, for a second suggestion, what about a paypal option? I'm not to fond of the current system ..

The current setup will go through paypal .
and I like the idea you suggest for those that just fancy playing pure, mind you it'd probably start a flamewar if people were ALLOWED to turn them off but decide not too.

Hmm. If money is send from <random player> to the aprilon account as donation. Then I assume that Karl grants <the random player's> steam_ID the donator benefits. But when you do not want these benefits in <game> at all, and just only want to donate some money, it should be possible to NOT give <random player> donator benefits at all...?

Exactly my point QB. 
The idea is that you make it optional on the payment page if possible, or through other means.
I'm confident that there are some people out there wishing to support but not want all the benefits and just prefer it pure. Though, most of them would go for the benefits, I give you that. In that sense, discard the option to choose what benefits you would have. All or nothing.

Sounds like a plan. Good idea.
Damn I hate immunity when I'm on winnerteam, I can't sticky / rocket boost myself because of the invulnerability.

I see your point. I could in fact just create a "Donate by Heart" page (the name's pretty obvious). Thanks for your concern. I'd just provide the address for donating though. If you wish to donate without getting any benefits, you can send funds to [email protected]

If I'm not mistaking, the Payment thing on Paypal, said that Karlicious would receive my money

I'll make that page if you want to (on the condition that I'm not lazy at that time). Alternatively, you can just send me a PM with an address and I'll just ignore all instances coming from that e-mail?
