Seeing as this update has now rolled out, what's everyones thoughts on the changes? Some pretty big changes in there which will shake things up nicely. Liking the teleporter changes, one of my biggest gripes playing engie was someone sapping my teleporter entrance . Post your thoughts below anyway ;)

The SDK changed so it broke SourceMod, so I'm waiting for the SM 1.3 branch (which will most likely roll out tomorrow). They have already made a 1.2.2-dev snapshot but I can't be arsed updating it to that now. It'll be down tomorrow some time for maintenance where I'll update this shit, and get stuff working properly. I should probably not be surprised if anything else than that is broken :(

Well they Nerfed the Scout a little too much, just my opinion.

Not sure yet, but I think a weekend of playing should solve that!!! ;)

I think the update has many good things.

The teleporter/spy update is very nice. It's also very nice that the extreme overpowered force-a-nature has been reduced. No BONK on übercharged people is also very nice. The scout update were imo not very good - it's nice to see they have realized that :)

One unfortunate thing I’ve just discovered, though, is that you aren’t able to play demos recorded before the update.. :(

That happens on most updates unfortunately.

I think you can get standalone players that play content from old versions. Google around a bit.
