What can be causing this?

My computer seems to suffer from a problem over the last weeks, meaning 1/3 of the times I open Steam, it stops responding when connecting my account.
Does anyone have experience with this problem or know what may be causing it?

Takes ~3-5 minutes till it responds. Then it might stop again on the Steam Community front page.

I've had this problem before on my laptop. I just tried to ignore it as annoying as it is lol. I got a new PC though so.
