Steam Beta [Screenshot support]

Hi guys
I just found out about new beta update, now we can take screenshots in our steam games and upload them to our profiles
For now its still in beta, you can go to Steam -> Settings -> Beta participation and enable your beta.
You can press F12 in game to take a screenshot and upload it to your profile
Look here, example on my profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/xfireuser/screenshots/

Can't you already do this? Or does ti take screenshots and post them to your Steam profile?

Does anyone know how do i view steam updates if i wasnt online to see it?
I looked on steam forums and they dont post there, and i checked client updates on steam, and the latest one is from "11 Jan 2011", there was an update last night and i dont know whats changed beside the skin and you cant see links when browsing community anymore?
