Over time I've done a bunch of little stop motion animations.
Most arent very good, but I've just decided to record the sunrise.
Im using the webcam on my laptop, using one of the "XP Powertoy Webcam Timershot."
This is an app that takes a picture, every amount of time that you tell it, using your webcam.
So, my laptop is taking a picture of the horison (as the sun comes up) every 15 seconds.
Its then saving them onto my external HD (because my laptop has very little space available)
When its done, I will shove them all into movie maker, set them to being shown for about 0.3seconds each and then upload the video to youtube
When its on youtube, Ill post it on this thread.
Anyone else done any stop motion animation?
If you have, please post an example :3

I'd say that that is time-lapse rather than stop-motion TBH. stop-motion would require you moving something, then taking a picture, then moving something, then taking a picture - but this seems automatic. Anyway, looking forward to the video.

Nice man, I mean it!
We are doing stuff like that at school except with normal camera and we are using clay
(Claymation also known as Clay Animation)
In other words we move the clay a inch take a picture move clay take a picture etc..
Anyway good luck with the all day one

Here it is, I eventually did it.
I recorded a picture every 20 seconds for the whole day.
Sadly because of the low quality of my laptops webcam, and the brightness of the sun, most of it is just white ¬_¬
But the sunsets nice to watch, you can see the shaddows getting longer and longer.

Very NAICE.
You should try it again with a filter over the lense. Nothing fancy, just use the film from a camera or something.

haha that is a great time lapse, the sun gets in the way near the end but nonetheless excellent, and of course keyboard cat is great
