Extreme Harddrive Formatting

So i'm disposing of a recently replaced HDD and figured i should format it prior to binning it, did i miss any of the data do you think?

You can still recover data from a badly damaged disk as long as it is in one piece.

Actually snap the disk into pieces.

This is why I always have a CD with dban on it so I can quickly nuke my HDD's if I get raided by the FBI.

Yeah but this isn't a deterrant for those who really want its just to prevent the local scavengers from trying to use it, they'll fail at the "Oh shit it has dents in" part, there isn't anything confinential on this particular drive just all my old PSP ISO files and a few movies :)
