Well, i dont know whats the price of that PC (615 € ?) but if u gonna buy something new, dont go for a Core i3 if can :p
If u can afford it, i recommend u get the pieces separately, going for a core i5 on a motherborad with p55 chipset (or a Sandy Bridge chip on a P67 chip motherboard, if u can), 4 gb of ram and a medium range graphic card (Radeon 5870 / GeForce GTX 460). U can save ur older hard disk or buy a new one for low price. Also u may will need to buy a new power supply and maybe a new case, but all of these will cost arround 800€ or less, better than spending 615€ on that closed config
But thats just my opninion xD

Im bying myself a new PC now, this is the list:
Casing: NXTZ Tempest Evo
Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 PRO

CPU Cooler: CORSAIR H70

I did hear buying it in parts makes the computer so much better. Is it true?

Well, it depends.
Here in Norway, I can buy a PC in parts for about 8000NOK (1000Euros), that would cost about 10 000NOK - 15 000NOK (1300/1900Euros) if it where a pre-buildt one from a known manufacturer. Maby more, maby less, that depends on the manufacturer.
I've allways buldt my computers myself, its really easy, youtube and google are FULL of tutorials.
The PC i listed up here will cost me 8400NOK (1067 Euros). And it will be a GREAT computer.

Oh wow.. hmm.. very interesting

I totally agree with Myhre. I've always bought the componets separately and put all together by myself. By this way u can save much money right when u buy the PC and also when u decide to upgrade it
If u got that money dont spent it on that config, coz it's pretty bad for that price. U dont need a graphic card only, u need a processor that goes accordly and dont generates a "bottle neck". With some more than 500€ u can get a motherboard, a chip, a medium graphic card and 4gb of ram and use all ur previous stuff. Btw, which specs u got atm? Maybe u can save something.. if u are lucky xD

can someone please tell me if it possible to uppgrade the grafic card, i really need to know it
//simme337
22 May 2011, 20:33
Yep, its possible, but if u install a cuttin edge graphic card u wont get its full perfomance, cuz the cpu is pretty basic. U may experience some bottle necks, as i said before :/
Also, u wont be able to install Crossfire or CrossfireX on that motherboard, coz its only have 1 PCI Express x16 slot

Soz for double post, but thats a much better config for 686€, or 6120 Swedish kronor
23 May 2011, 15:30

23 May 2011, 20:23
A guy buys a new PC and the first game they 'test' the PC on is Minecraft.
